Jonna Alberta is a multimedia artist with a focus on fine art photography. From a young age, Alberta knew she was a creative person maintaining hobbies such as dancing, hair styling, and sewing. At 14 years old she took her first photography class and has yet to put the camera down. She graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts and her Bachelor of Science in Business Management in May of 2024. After years of studying all mediums, photography has remained Alberta’s priority, however, she is eager to continue her painting career. Her commercial work ranges from event photography to individually curated shoots. With the artmaking process simultaneously functioning as a personal coping mechanism, Alberta’s goal is to break the barrier of emotional suppression. By combining medium and narrative, Alberta looks to mirror the experiences we all may have in common.
